The Trans-Tasman Test Series is a best-of-three series between the two top Touch Football nations in the world, Australia and New Zealand. The rivalry between the Emus and the Touch Blacks is strong. The Open Trans-Tasman comprises of Men's, Women's and Mixed divisions. There's also a Youth Trans-Tasman for Under-18s and Under-20s, and a Masters Trans-Tasman for older divisions.

Australia's national representative Touch Football teams are known as the Pain Away Emus. The highest-level Pain Away Australian Emus teams are the Men's Open, Women's Open and Mixed Open teams. Unlike other team sports, there are Mixed divisions at the most elite level of Touch. Touch Football athletes can also represent the Pain Away Emus at Youth and Masters levels. The Pain Away Emus represent Australia in Touch World Cup events and Trans-Tasman Test Series.
The NRL Touch Premiership is a televised elite Touch Football competition in which men's and women's teams representing NRL clubs compete for the title annually during the NRL season.
The Federation of International Touch (FIT) is the international governing body for Touch Football. FIT runs the Open as well as Masters Touch World Cups in a four-yearly cycle.
The NTL is a nationwide tournament for the sport of Touch Football, held annually in Coffs Harbour NSW. It's region against region in Open, Mixed and Masters as well as All Abilities divisions.
The National Youth Championships is an annual tournament contested by Australia's best young Touch Footballers.
