Stay COVID-Safe - Current Restrictions on Competition As of 14th October 2021


As of the 14th October, Greater Melbourne and Mildura are subject to strict lockdown, and no community sport or club based training is permitted. 

Training is permitted in non-lockdown areas in the following circumstances:
- Only the minimum number of participants required to undertake the training are to be in attendance.
This includes a maximum of 1 parent or guardian per dependent. 
- Individual events such as junior clinics, come and try, touch fitness and Vichealth programs may proceed,
however the total number of participants is 30, plus the coach(es)/Official(s).
- No person from a locked down area is permitted to attend.
- COVID Marshalls must be present at entry points, ensuring all players
check in and no one from a locked down area is in attendance.
- COVID Plans must be amended to reflect any training which is undertaken. 

Vaccinated Activity Directions

TFV can advise that, under the Vaccinated Activity Directions (No3) which are valid until 21st October, any person classified as a Physical Recreation Worker will be required to adhere to the Mandatory Vaccination (workers) Directions.

Youth in Touch is a program for people aged 12 to 17 years old, designed to get them active and involved in physical activity through the sport of Touch Football. "Switch - Strengthening Women in Touch Football" is an entry point for women who are interested in playing Touch Football or simply looking to switch up their routine.
