From school carnivals to junior State Cups, this November is bursting with action in the world of Touch Football. Here are some highlight events to mark in your calendar.
Vawdon Cup Finals
2 November
The Vawdon Cup – the premier affiliate competition run by the NSW Touch Association (NSWTA) for the Sydney metropolitan area – has delivered two months of epic Touch Football, and now the finals are set for Sunday, 2 November.
The revamped competition for 2024 saw a record 108 teams compete across fourteen divisions. In the end, Penrith Touch were crowned Club Champions, with Western Suburbs and Parramatta rounding out the top three.

National Indigenous Touch Football Knockout
8 – 9 November
After record participation in 2024, the National Indigenous Touch Football Knockout (NITFKO) returns to Katrina Gibbs Oval in Dubbo. Delivered in partnership with REDI.E, this event is a highlight of the annual Touch Football calendar – celebrating community connection, inclusive participation, and meaningful progress toward reconciliation with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.

Touch of Pride
15 November
Launched in 2022 at the University of Queensland, Touch of Pride is a Touch Football Australia initiative dedicated to creating a safe, inclusive, and welcoming environment for all Australians – regardless of gender, sexuality, or background.
In 2025, Touch of Pride will feature at SpringOut, Canberra’s premier pride festival. Held throughout November, SpringOut is a month-long celebration of the LGBTQIA+ community. Touch Football will be part of the Sport Your Pride multi-sport event on Saturday, 15 November, offering an accessible and inclusive space where participants and allies can connect through sport and celebrate pride together.

Touch Football WA Super League Series Finals
22 November
Western Australia’s premier club competition, the Super League Series, will reach its climax on Saturday, 22 November. After weeks of fierce competition, it all comes down to one final day of Touch Football.
Perth Brothers will be chasing back-to-back Men’s and Women’s Open titles, while the Kwinana Titans look to bounce back in the Mixed Open division after a thrilling 2024 final against Tompkins Park that went right down to the wire.

QLD State Cup
28 – 30 November
An unmissable event for Touch Football fans in the Sunshine State, the QLD State Cup will see more than 2,000 participants converge on Coomera Sports Park on the Gold Coast for three days of action-packed play. With divisions catering to both elite and social players, there’s something for everyone.
Despite tough weather conditions, the 2024 edition was one to remember – highlighted by Redlands’ historic Men’s Premier victory and the UQ Rebels’ continued dominance in the Women’s Premier division.

Touch Football WA Junior State Championships
28 – 30 November
Presented by Fuel to Go and Play, the WA Junior State Championships bring together the state’s best up-and-coming players for one epic weekend of competition. Returning to UWA Sports Park in Mt Claremont, the event offers junior athletes a valuable opportunity to showcase their talent and push for future representative selection.
Divisions are contested across under-8, under-10, under-12, under-14 and Open (15 to 17 years) age groups.
