
Launched with the DoorDash National Youth Championships from sunny Coffs Harbour, October is a massive month of Touch Football, featuring some of the largest events on the calendar. Here’s everything happening as we heat up into the summer season.
DoorDash National Youth Championships
1 – 4 October
Coffs Harbour once again hosted Australia’s premier youth Touch Football event, featuring eight divisions from Boys’ and Girls’ under-12s to under-18s. With a unique mix of school, regional, and state representative teams, the DoorDash National Youth Championships continues to provide a huge platform for the next generation of Touch Football stars to make their mark on the national stage.

Gold Coast Titans All Schools
8 – 12 October
First held in 1983, the Gold Coast Titans All Schools will host teams from across Australia and internationally in the sport’s largest Touch Football tournament. With up to 600 teams competing, the event is run by Queensland All Schools Touch and Queensland Touch Football (QTF) as a seeded, round robin-based competition where teams are placed in pools of six to eight.
With over 8,000 students playing over 2,000 games across the five-day tournament, this event is one of the biggest on the annual Touch Football calendar.

NSW Touch Association Country Championships
18 – 19 October
With a history spanning more than three decades, the NSW Touch Association (NSWTA) Country Championships returns to Mudgee for the first time since 2023. A celebration of country Touch Football, the event continues to serve as a key stepping stone towards representative success for both players and affiliates.
Glen Willow Regional Stadium is set to host the action, with divisions ranging from Opens to Masters and All Abilities.

Australian Masters Games
18 – 21 October
Created by the Confederation of Australian Sport in 1987, the Australian Masters Games is a week-long festival of sport, filled with an extensive program of both sporting and social events. Touch Football will be one of fifty different sports on offer, with Deakin Playing Fields in the ACT set to host the action.

School Sport Australia Championships
25 – 30 October
Since its establishment in 1981, School Sport Australia has been responsible for the development and promotion of school sport in Australia, with interstate competitions a key priority. In 2025, the event will be held in Victoria, with Russell Square in Brown Hill hosting the festivities.
Competitions will be contested in Boys’ and Girls’ under-12s and under-15s age groups.

Queensland Primary All Schools Championships
31 October – 2 November
Queensland’s premier primary school Touch Football event will welcome more than 280 teams from all corners of the state for three days of fun. Hosted by Redlands Touch Association in Cleveland, the Queensland Primary All Schools Championships will feature Boys’, Girls’, and Mixed competitions across Opens, Juniors (9- to 10-year-olds), and All Abilities.
