Touch Football Australia (TFA) is proud to announce the seven successful referees who received the inaugural National Referee Grading at The Championships, held in late May in Coffs Harbour.
Following the recent introduction of TFA's new Referee Education and Development Framework, the National Referee Grading is achieved via an in-game competency assessment for referees seeking to officiate in Performance environments. Achieving this grading demonstrates leadership skills to drive the professionalism of the referee community forward, with the expectation of taking on a mentoring role for other officials inside and outside of event structures.
A National Referee Grading is available once per year at the flagship event in Australia which, in this year's case, is The Championships.
