Touch Football Australia (TFA) is pleased to announce that the 2025 iteration of The Championships will showcase a new All Abilities competition, now consisting of three Tiers.

A part of twenty-five divisions at The Championships, the three different Tiers include two types of players: a Certified Athlete (CA) who is an individual who is an NDIS recipient, and a Non-Certified Athlete (NCA) who is an individual who is not an NDIS recipient.

The All Abilities competition will continue to showcase that Touch Football has no limits, and allows for athletes of All Abilities to come together and participate on the national stage across three different Tiers.

The Tiers are classified as:

Tier 1
Teams are not permitted to have any NCAs within the squad. The Tier 1 competition will consist of a standard game length.

Tier 2
Teams are limited to a maximum of two (2) CAs on the field and a maximum of six (6) NCAs within the squad. The Tier 2 competition will consist of a standard game length.

Tier 3
Teams are limited to a maximum of six (6) NCAs and six (6) CAs on the field. The NCA's role is to play a passive role in the involvement of the game whilst providing support and assistance to CAs to increase participation levels throughout the game. NCAs are required to wear bibs when on the field, which will be provided by TFA. The Tier 3 competition consists of a half-game length. NCAs for Tier 3 are not required to pay the tournament fee but are still required to register via MySideline for insurance purposes.

The All Abilities divisions will play on all three days of The Championships in 2025 from Thursday, March 6 to Saturday, March 8 at C.ex Coffs International Stadium, Coffs Harbour.
