The Cold Climate Classic is one of our sports best kept secrets and is back bigger than ever in 2024.
Featuring the Tasmanian Club Championships (which is open to all affiliates nationally) and for the first time ever, a half day, quickfire Fast 4s tournament there’s plenty of fun and action to be enjoyed on the field. You can play in one or both tournaments, it’s up to you!
But there’s just as much fun to be had off the field as well with two amazing add on packages that will enable you to experience the best that North Tasmania has to offer so why not take the opportunity to make a few days of it.

The Cold Climate Classic features two Touch Football events in one action-packed weekend. Play in one or both formats, the choice is yours! The Fast 4s tournament offers a unique, short format social event played exclusively on Saturday afternoon / evening. It’s an action packed, bang for buck, fun and social experience for new and old players alike. As the name suggests this 4-a-side format, operates with reduced players and match duration enabling multiple games with minimal players required. If you’re participating in the Club Championships, you could even split your team in two creating inter-team bragging rights!

The Tasmanian Club Championships offers a traditional 6-a-side mixed gender format and welcomes affiliate rep teams from across Tasmania and Australia to participate. Whether you’re looking for a fun weekend away or looking to begin your preparation for state or national tournaments the Tassie Club Championships has a place for you.
