Marryatville High School has become the first South Australian school to officially join Touch Football Australia’s national Endorsed Schools Program, marking an exciting milestone for the growth of school-based Touch Football in the state.
Marryatville High School has delivered Touch Football programs for several years, and the Endorsed Schools Program will help the school expand those opportunities to more students. Through the program, the school can access support, resources and development opportunities that strengthen connections between school participation and local affiliate pathways.
Touch Football SA State Manager Renée Bryant said Marryatville High School has played an important role across school, affiliate and representative pathways in South Australia.
"Marryatville High School has supported school, affiliate and representative pathways, with referees, coaches and athletes coming through the ranks. The school’s commitment to all levels of Touch Football in South Australia has been consistent, and we are proud to see them join the national Endorsed Schools Program." Renée said.
Program Lead Joel Nolan said the networking opportunities and up-to-date information shared through the Endorsed Schools Program will support Marryatville High School to provide students with greater opportunities across playing, refereeing and coaching pathways.
