Touch Football Australia (TFA) is calling for expressions of interest (EOI) from suitably qualified referees to be considered to attend the 2026 DoorDash National Youth Championships (NYC).
The 2026 NYC is Australia’s premier youth Touch Football event and will be held from Monday, 28 September to Thursday, 1 October at C.ex Coffs International Stadium, Coffs Harbour.
The NYC event has proven to be a highlight for the Touch Football community, providing a great opportunity for referees to develop and work towards a higher badge level and to be identified for future national programs and international events, including:
- Selection event for National Youth Referee Squad,
- TID Event for the National Referee Squad,
- TID Event for the National Masters Referee Squad,
- TID Event for the Alliance Referee Squad, and
- Specific development opportunities for representative and state officials.

EOI Close: Monday, 10 August 2026
Tournament Acceptance Pack Completion: Wednesday, 26 August 2026
Referee Withdrawal Final Date: Wednesday, 26 August 2026
Travel to Coffs Harbour: Sunday, 27th September 2026.
NYC Event Dates: Monday, 28 September to Thursday, 1 October 2026
Travel home from Coffs Harbour: Thursday 2 or Friday 3 October 2026
