July is packed with opportunities to get involved in Touch, with a wide range of events giving junior participants the chance to compete, develop their skills, and enjoy the game. Whether you're hitting the field at a school holiday clinic, striving for representative honours, or celebrating NAIDOC Week through Touch Football, there's something for everyone this month as the winter season continues.
NAIDOC APS Touch Football Tournament
3 July
The first week of July sees NAIDOC Week celebrated across Australia to celebrate and recognise Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples.
This year’s theme, 50 Years of Deadly, will be on show in Adelaide as Australian Public Sector workers take part in the third official NAIDOC Touch Football tournament.

NSW Touch Football (NSWTF) School Holiday Clinics
6 – 17 July
Designed for participants of all skill levels, school holiday clinics will be hosted by NSWTF in the month of July, focusing on skills, game play, teamwork, and having fun.

ACT NAIDOC Touch Carnival
7 July
Touch Football ACT will celebrate NAIDOC Week with its traditional celebrations at Deakin Playing Fields. The Touch Football carnival will involve 33 teams from a range of Australian Public Service branches competing across 3 divisions: Trophy, Cup, and Plate.
The event will be hosted by The Department of Health, Disability & Aging, with support from Touch Football ACT.

Queensland Junior State Cup
9 – 11 July
Queensland Touch Football’s (QTF) premier junior event will be held over three days in Redlands, with over 4,000 participants from more than 260 affiliate teams set to compete.
Suitable for ages 8 to 18 with both male and female divisions, the event focuses not only on junior athlete development but also coach and referee development and pathways.

South Queensland Sharks Primary and Secondary All Schools
22 – 28 July
South Queensland Sharks Touch will run school events for secondary and primary schools from South Queensland and neighbouring regions, providing valuable opportunities for teams and players in a high level of competition.
There are a large range of divisions on offer, with secondary students able to compete from under-13s, under-15s, and opens, while primary students can participate in years 3/4 and years 5/6.
- 22 – 23 July – Secondary All Schools at Owen Park, Southport
- 28 July – Primary All Schools at Bill Norris Oval, Beenleigh
NSWTF All Schools Championships
23 July
Ranging across metro and regional locations throughout New South Wales, the NSWTF All Schools Championships provide students with the opportunity to participate in the under-15s pathway within the School Sport System.
Split across two age groups (Year 7/8 Boys and Girls, and Year 9/10 Boys and Girls), grand final winners from regional events (and runners-up in some regions) will proceed to the State Final in September, creating a wide and competitive event.
The upcoming 2026 dates and venues are:

- 2 September – All Schools State Final
