Touch football in Canberra is at an exciting crossroads — and the decisions made now will define the sport in our region for years to come. Our Interim Directors Joel (Chair), Kier and Robyn are seeking to bring together players, coaches, volunteers, and community members for an informal town hall to discuss the naming, objects and structure of a new local association. This is a genuine ground-up conversation about what touch football in Canberra can and should look like — covering everything from how the association is structured and governed, to how it grows participation, supports participation growth, and delivers great experiences for everyone involved.

No decisions have been locked in yet. That is the point. The associations that stand the test of time are built with broad input from the start, and we want voices from right across the community — from seasoned administrators to parents on the sideline, from elite competitors to social players just getting started.

The evening will be relaxed and social. Platters will be on the table, and drinks will be flowing (soft drinks on us!). Come along, meet some familiar and new faces, share your vision for the game, and help us lay the foundations for something the whole community can be proud of.

This is your chance to have a real say before the formal structure is set. If touch football in Canberra matters to you, we would love to see you there.
