Touch Football South Australia is excited to announce the coaching appointments and trial information for the upcoming DoorDash National Youth Championships.
The National Youth Championships provide South Australia’s emerging athletes with the opportunity to compete against the nation’s best junior touch football talent while proudly representing the SA Heat on the national stage.
We are pleased to confirm the following coaching appointments for the 2026 campaign:
Coaching Appointments
Under 18s Boys:
- Head Coach – Grant Richards
- Assistant Coach - Craig Barnett
Under 18s Girls:
- Head Coach – Joel Nolan
- Assistant Coach - Zahli Clarke
Touch Football SA is proud to have such a passionate and experienced coaching group leading our youth programs as preparations begin for the 2026 National Youth Championships.
Trial Information
Trials for all SA Heat Youth teams will be held at:

Trial 1
- Date: Sunday 17th May
- Time: 9am - 11am
All athletes interested in representing South Australia are encouraged to complete the below form and attend the trials.
National Youth Championships 2026 Trial Registrations – Fill in form
Touch Football South Australia is also currently seeking Expressions of Interest from players interested in participating in the Under 14 and Under 16 programs. Further information regarding these age groups will be announced at a later date.
In addition, we are currently seeking Team Managers across all SA Heat teams for the 2026 National Youth Championships campaign. Individuals interested in supporting the program are encouraged to get in contact with Touch Football South Australia for further information.
