For over two decades, Rebecca Trenerry, known to everyone around her as Bec, has been a constant and trusted presence within the South Pine Touch Football community, dedicating her time, energy, and passion to help the sport thrive.

Bec’s journey in Touch Football began around twenty-five years ago, when she was introduced to the sport through her now husband, Keiran. Her initial connection to the sport quickly grew into a lifelong passion, and she is now a much-loved and highly valued member of the Touch Football family.

Serving as South Pine’s competition night administrator for over twelve years, Bec has played a vital role in the delivery of the association’s competitions. Her commitment behind the scenes has helped create a positive environment, ensuring a great Touch Football experience for participants and supporters alike.

Whether it’s supporting junior programs, building connections with local schools and affiliated associations, or assisting with representative events, Bec is always willing to step in wherever she’s needed. She has become someone that South Pine can consistently rely on, generously volunteering her time to support her community across all areas.

Bec’s contribution to Touch Football also extends beyond South Pine. She is a regular volunteer at Touch Football Australia (TFA) national events, including The Championships and the DoorDash National Youth Championships, where her experience, enthusiasm, and camaraderie make her an invaluable member of the event team year after year.

In addition, Bec supports TFA’s High-Performance programs and the Athelite Australian Emus squads, assisting with the delivery of Emus camps in Queensland. Her involvement at this level highlights her dedication to Touch Football, and her passion for supporting athletes at all levels of the sport continues to grow and evolve.

Those who know Bec describe her as down-to-earth, dependable, and always ready to lend a hand. Her love for Touch Football is evident in everything she does, and her ongoing commitment continues to make a meaningful difference to the community, making her a highly deserving recipient as TFA Volunteer of the Month.

Congratulations, Bec, and thanks again for your commitment and dedication towards our sport.
