Touch Football Australia (TFA) is proud to announce its Australian referee contingent selected to officiate at the upcoming Asia Pacific Opens Touch Cup (APOTC) this April.
Recognised among the nation’s top officiating talent, the selected contingent will play a crucial role in the delivery of the Federation of International Touch (FIT) event, marking a significant achievement within the high-performance pathway. Referees play a vital role in Touch Football at all levels, and the event provides an opportunity to gain valuable experience on the international stage.
The APOTC builds on Touch Football’s expanding international calendar, following last year’s Open Trans-Tasman Series in New Zealand and the Asia Pacific Youth Touch Cup in Redcliffe, Queensland. The event will welcome Men’s, Women’s, and Mixed Opens teams from across the Asia Pacific to Mudgee’s world-class facilities at Glen Willow Regional Sports Complex, which last hosted Opens competition in 2014.
A special milestone also awaits Tom Donehue, who has been rewarded with his international referee debut.
TFA congratulates all officials selected and acknowledges their ongoing dedication to the sport.
