Touch Football WA is now calling for Coaches and Team Managers applications for the 2026 DoorDash National Youth Championships (NYC). This is an exciting opportunity to lead and support WA’s next generation of elite athletes on the national stage.
We are currently recruiting for the following divisions:
- 16 Boys
- 16 Girls
- 18 Boys
- 18 Girls
The NYC is a premier pathway event, bringing together the best junior talent from across Australia. Successful applicants will play a key role in athlete development, performance, wellbeing and team culture throughout the campaign.
Roles Available:
Head Coach / Assistant Coach
- Plan and deliver high-performance training sessions
- Lead gameplay strategy and athlete development
- Work closely with Touch Football WA staff, athletes and parents
Team Manager
- Oversee team logistics and communication
- Support athlete welfare and off-field organisation
- Liaise with Touch Football WA staff and parents
What We’re Looking For
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- A positive, athlete-centred approach
- Relevant coaching or management experience
- A commitment to representing WA with professionalism and pride
