Eight teams converged on the Limestone Coast on January 17th to compete in the annual Globe Hotel Cup, a cash-prize touch football event held in Mount Gambier.
Played in warm conditions, teams contested fast-paced 20-minute touchdown turnaround games throughout the day, with finals positions and cash on the line. 
The Mixed Competitive grand final showcased a clash between two Adelaide-based teams, with AUTC Cobras claiming a convincing 5–2 victory over Alpha Dogs in a high-intensity contest.
In the Mixed Social division, two regional teams battled in a thrilling grand final. Local side CatsnDogs faced the Portland Tigers, with the match decided in dramatic fashion. The Portland Tigers crossed in the corner with just 10 seconds remaining to secure a 2–1 win and take the trophy back to Portland.
