Touch Football Australia (TFA) today proudly acknowledges a group of exceptional athletes who are stepping back from international Opens representation. Each has made a lasting impact on Australia’s success on the world stage, leaving a legacy defined by excellence, professionalism, and dedicated service to the sport.

TFA recognises Jayden Benbow (Emu #186), Kim Sue See (Emu #157), and Catherine Sargent (Emu #155); three long-serving representatives whose dedication to the green and gold spans more than a decade each of elite international performance, most recently at the 2025 Open Trans-Tasman Series.

Jayden Benbow – Emu #186

Jayden Benbow concludes a distinguished eleven-year international career in the Opens arena, earning forty-six Test caps across World Cups, Trans-Tasman series, and Tri-Series competitions. He represented Australia at World Cups in 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2023, and 2025, alongside additional international appearances in 2015, 2019, and 2024. Renowned for his consistency, preparation, and professionalism, Jayden’s contribution has set a high benchmark for Australian representatives.

Kim Sue See – Emu #157

Kim Sue See steps back from international Opens representation as one of the most influential leaders in Australian Women’s Touch Football. Accumulating fifty-one international caps, she represented Australia across international campaigns in 2014, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2023, and 2025, consisting of Trans-Tasman series, Tri-Series, and other international representations, in addition to World Cup appearances in 2015, 2019, and 2024. From 2023 to 2025, Kim captained the Australian Women’s team, leading with distinction and a strong commitment to performance standards and team culture.

Catherine Sargent – Emu #155

Catherine Sargent completes her international Opens career having earned twenty-six Test caps for Australia through World Cups and other international representations, including Trans-Tasman series. She represented Australia internationally in 2014, 2017, 2018, 2023, and 2025, including a World Cup appearance in 2019, and was widely respected for her dedication and reliability.
