2026 APSTC Hero

Touch Football Australia (TFA) announces the return of international Touch to Japan in October 2026, marking the debut of the Asia Pacific Seniors Touch Cup (APSTC). This exciting new event will allow our athletes to spotlight their incredible talent, enthusiasm, and commitment as they represent us on the international stage.

Under the auspices of the Federation of International Touch (FIT), the APSTC will showcase a variety of senior and masters age divisions, including both single-gender and mixed categories. The event welcomes participation from all FIT Member National Touch Organisations (NTOs), with priority granted to teams from the Asia and Oceania regions.

This event provides a great opportunity to expand our international presence and honour our talented senior athletes who continue to excel in the sport.

Player and Coach Expressions of Interest

Expressions of Interest (EOIs) are now being accepted from players and coaches wishing to represent Australia at the APSTC. Interested individuals can find the relevant EOI links below.

A selection camp is planned for April or May 2026, with specific details to be confirmed shortly. Invited athletes and coaching staff will be expected to attend. Participants will be responsible for covering their own costs associated with attending the camp and the Senior event.

The Coach EOI will close on Monday, 12 January 2026.

Before completing the EOI, all athletes and coaches are encouraged to review the National Selection Policy (NSP) and National Coach and Manager Appointment Policy (NCMAP), and the position descriptions for the National Head Coach and National Assistant Coach roles.
