Megan Dunn exemplifies the values of Touch Football through her unwavering commitment, generosity, and long-standing service to the South West Wolves (SWW) community.
Over her 13 years with SWW, and now as Permit Manager since 2023, Megan has been instrumental in solidifying the club. She has driven growth in player numbers, secured new sponsors, enhanced inclusion initiatives, and increased revenue through successful fundraising - all contributing to a stronger, more connected SWW program. Her leadership also led to securing a permit physio, significantly improving support for athletes.
Megan’s dedication extends far beyond club duties. She has personally purchased equipment for the Malolo District School in Fiji and coordinated boot donations for young players, demonstrating her passion for supporting grassroots participation in Touch Football, not only within South Australia but internationally too.
Her ongoing involvement as an All Abilities Driver through her professional role as Director of Middle School at Thomas More College, as well as her service as a representative on the State and Territory Advisory Committee (STAC), reflects her commitment to making Touch Football accessible and inclusive for everyone.
In addition to her volunteer contributions, Megan has coached the SA Under-12 Girls team on numerous occasions and represented the sport at state levels, further showcasing her passion for player development and the growth of Touch Football.
Megan’s consistent, selfless, and high-impact contributions across SWW, the broader Touch Football community, and representative pathways make her an exceptional and highly deserving recipient as TFA Volunteer of the Month.
