As the year draws to a close, December will serve as a huge month of Touch Football action across the country. From State Cup showdowns and cultural celebrations to summer parties on the sand, there is something for everyone. Here’s what’s happening in Touch Football this December.

 

Touch Football South Australia League Finals

5 December

After two months of competition, the 2025 Touch Football South Australia League (TFSAL) comes to a thrilling finish with grand finals on Friday, 5 December across Mixed, Women’s, and Men’s divisions.

NSW Touch Association (NSWTA) State Cup

5 – 7 December

The NSWTA State Cup is back for another massive weekend in Port Macquarie, with teams ranging from Opens level to Men’s 60s from across the state converging on the Mid-North Coast to be crowned champions.

Last year’s event delivered unforgettable moments, with challenging conditions, dramatic drop-offs, and an intense Men’s Open showdown between Doyalson and Newcastle. This year promises another weekend of high-quality action, excitement, and state-level rivalry.

Queensland All Nations

6 – 7 December

A key part of Queensland Touch Football’s (QTF) Festival of Touch, the Queensland All Nations celebrates the diversity of cultures that enrich the Touch Football community. This fun and inclusive social tournament invites players to represent their heritage both on and off the field.

Participants enjoy a vibrant event atmosphere where they can experience multiple cultures through food, dance, and connection, while taking to the field across a wide range of divisions: Mixed, Women’s, and Men’s Opens, Boys and Girls 12s through to 18s, and 30s and 40s Mixed.

Beach Touch Footy – Perth Edition

6 December

Western Australia’s biggest summer celebration returns to Scarborough Beach, with the Perth edition of Beach Touch Footy set for another exciting day in the sand.

Offering Mixed competition in three divisions – Premier, Social, and Community – and cash prizes on the line, it’s the perfect way to close out the year with good vibes, great weather, and plenty of Touch Football fun.
