The Harvey Norman All Stars will make a vibrant return to Aotearoa New Zealand in 2026, featuring Māori and Indigenous Touch Football teams competing at FMG Stadium Waikato, Hamilton, on Sunday, 15 February.
This highly anticipated event marks the fifteenth All Stars fixture since its inception, and the eighth match specifically between the Māori and Indigenous All Stars. The Touch Football match will serve as the exciting curtain-raiser to the NRLW and NRL games, setting the stage for an unforgettable day of sporting excellence and cultural celebration.
Touch Football Australia (TFA) and Māori Touch New Zealand (MTNZ) are calling for expressions of interest (EOI) for players for both teams and coaches for the Indigenous team. Participants must be available from 9 to 16 February 2026, with airfares included from major centres (other internal flights at the participant’s expense).
Submitting an EOI is the first step and does not guarantee selection; successful participants will be contacted directly by TFA and MTNZ with further details.
The All Stars is more than a game – it’s a celebration of Māori and Indigenous culture, community, and the shared love of sport. For Touch players, it’s a rare chance to proudly represent their culture on a national stage, take part in a fully integrated camp with NRLW and NRL players, and join a week-long program of cultural activities, education, and connection – showcasing their skills and contributing to a truly historic All Stars fixture.
Don’t miss this opportunity! Submit your EOI by 5 PM AEDT / 7 PM NZDT on Tuesday, 2 December 2025.
