The 2025 DoorDash National Youth Championships in Coffs Harbour marked another outstanding campaign for our WA Tigers teams, with impressive performances across all divisions and plenty of memorable moments both on and off the field.
Our 18s Girls started strong, recording key wins over the NRN Eagles and NQ Cyclones, with their match against the Cyclones even featured live on Kayo Sports, a fantastic opportunity to showcase the talent of our young athletes on a national stage.
The 16s Boys impressed throughout the tournament, notching a victory over VIC Storm. They progressed all the way to the Alliance Grand Final, where they produced a gutsy performance before going down to a strong ACT Raiders outfit.
Our 16s Girls Black side had a phenomenal week, securing wins over BNE Cobras B, NRN Eagles, and SWQ Swans. Their run continued through to the Alliance Championship Final, where they capped off an exceptional campaign by defeating VIC Storm to take home the Alliance Championship title. A remarkable effort and a proud moment for everyone involved.
Meanwhile, our 16s Girls Gold team showed tremendous growth throughout the tournament. Each game saw the group take another step forward, building confidence, cohesion, and competitive spirit, a sign of great things to come from this developing side.
