All Abilities Touch Football Program Wraps Up with a Fantastic Finale
Over the past 11 weeks, Touch Football WA partnered with Workpower to deliver an inclusive and engaging All Abilities Touch Football Program. Designed to make the game accessible for everyone, the program brought together participants of all skill levels to learn, play, and enjoy the sport in a supportive environment.
Across 10 weeks of training, players developed their skills through fun, structured sessions, learning everything from passing and catching techniques to teamwork and game awareness. The program focused on building confidence, encouraging participation, and most importantly, having fun.
The season concluded in style on Monday, 11 August, with a friendly game at George Burnett Park. The atmosphere was electric, with smiles all around as players showcased the skills they’d worked hard to develop. Friends, family, and community members came down to cheer on the teams, making it a truly special day.
This initiative was a great example of how sport can bring people together, break down barriers, and create lasting connections. A huge thank you goes to Paul Richardson and the team at Workpower; our lead coach Rachel Lowndes; and of course, every participant who brought their enthusiasm each week.
We look forward to seeing everyone back on the field for the next All Abilities Touch Football Program.
