
From school carnivals to Junior State Cups, there's no shortage of Touch Footy action this month. Here are a few key events to watch out for in July.
ACT NAIDOC Touch Carnival
10 – 12 July
As part of Touch Football ACT’s traditional NAIDOC Week celebrations, the carnival will take place at Deakin Playing Fields. Government and public service departments will go head-to-head, all while celebrating and acknowledging the history, culture, and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.

Queensland Junior State Cup
10 – 12 July
Queensland’s premier junior competition is back in 2025, promising another action-packed weekend of Touch Footy. Junior talent from across the Sunshine State will gather in Rockhampton to compete for state bragging rights. In 2024, BMTA (18s Girls) and Gold Coast (18s Boys) took home the top honours in the 18s divisions, while Gold Coast Touch Association was named the overall champion entity.

NSW Touch All Schools Carnivals
The NSW Touch All Schools Carnival provides opportunities for emerging Touch Football prospects to develop their skills within the school system. Schools and students from differing school systems now have the opportunity to compete against each other. Several carnivals will be held across the state over the upcoming Autumn and Winter months, with finals to be held in September. The following carnival will be held in July:
- Orana: July 24th, Katrina Gibbs Oval, Dubbo
- Central Coast: July 31, Adcock Park, Gosford
