Touch Football South Australia is proud to unveil the new representative playing uniform featuring a powerful piece of Indigenous artwork titled "Unity of Motion", created by Benjamin Gardiner Williams – a proud Bundjalung and Gumbaynggirr man.
This design celebrates the coming together of Adelaide’s four State League teams as they unite to form South Australia's representative squad SA Heat. More than just a uniform, the artwork tells a story. Through flowing patterns and meaningful symbols, it captures the spirit of unity, competition, and cultural pride that defines Touch Football in South Australia.
At the heart of the piece are representations of people playing Touch Football, reflecting the passion, energy, and dynamic movement that the sport inspires in players and communities alike. It is a visual celebration of connection - between teammates, clubs, and cultures – and the shared journey of striving for excellence on and off the field.
We extend our deepest thanks to Benjamin Gardiner Williams for sharing his culture and creativity with the Touch Football SA community. This artwork will proudly feature on our SA Heat playing kits in 2025 and serves as a reminder of the importance of inclusion, identity, and storytelling in sport.
Together, we move forward – strong, united, and proud.
