Touch Football Australia (TFA) is proud to announce the Athelite Australian Emus teams selected for the upcoming Asia Pacific Youth Touch Cup (APYTC) held in Redcliffe, Queensland from 15 to 17 May 2025.
Launched in 2023, the APYTC returns to the Touch Football calendar this year showcasing the best emerging youth talent on the international stage, with teams competing from across the South Pacific region.
The inaugural APYTC in 2023 saw Australia sweep the series with wins in all six divisions to be crowned Champion Nation – one against the Philippines and five against New Zealand – with the green and gold’s Trans-Tasman rivalry expected to be reignited at this year’s event in Queensland.
The international event presents an exciting opportunity for Australia's young talent to display their skills, with a total of seventy-one debutants to don the Emus kit for their first international appearance - including the entire teams for all 18s divisions.
Congratulations to all players and coaches selected.
