Touch Football Victoria (TFV) is pleased to announce the formation of a newly structured TFV Referee Panel, taking immediate effect. This initiative aims to enhance referee development, training, and coordination across Victoria, ensuring consistency and high-quality officiating at all levels of the game. By establishing a dedicated panel for each region, TFV is committed to providing better support, clearer pathways, and improved opportunities for referees at all stages of their development.
This new approach aims to create a more structured and efficient referee program, fostering a stronger and more skilled officiating community. With a focus on education and mentorship, the panel will play a crucial role in maintaining the integrity and professionalism of touch football in Victoria, helping referees reach their full potential while delivering fair and consistent match officiating.

Roles and Responsibilities
The newly appointed panel members will focus on improving referee development and coordination in their respective regions. Their responsibilities will include:
- Organising and facilitating Referee Training Courses
- On-field coaching to improve referee performance
- Coordination and allocation of referees for competitions and events
- Development of Referee Coaches to ensure a strong support network for referees
Support at Major Events
Major events in each region will have their representative in attendance where appropriate, to assist in the delivery of the high quality officiating and development standards and opportunity in line with the TFA Referee Development and Education Framework.
All state based events such as Junior State Cup and VT League will be coordinated with a whole of panel approach in order to ensure transparency and the highest standards of governance.
