These changes mark the beginning of an exciting period of transformation for the organisation as it undertakes a comprehensive review of governance and strategy to strengthen the sport's future.
The TFA Board is committed to engaging with all stakeholders, including players, clubs, state associations, and the broader Touch Football community, as it embarks on a governance review and strategic review. These initiatives aim to ensure the organisation operates with best practices and aligns its goals with the evolving needs of the sport and its participants.
Changes to the Board include:
- Director, Christian Frost – elected as new Chair
- John Mouawad – elected as new Director

“The upcoming governance and strategic reviews are a vital step in shaping the future of Touch Football in Australia,” said Christian Frost, the newly elected Chair.
“We encourage all stakeholders to participate in this process as we work together to build a unified and sustainable future for our sport.”
The NRL, a key stakeholder, has also reaffirmed its commitment to Touch Football Australia and is working towards finalising a new partnership in early 2025. This partnership will be pivotal in growing the sport and expanding its reach nationally.
In addition, TFA has partnered with Sportspeople Recruitment in a nationwide search for a new Chief Executive Officer and two female Board Directors. This demonstrates the organisation’s commitment to diversity and recognises the significant impact that diverse perspectives and experiences bring to leadership.
