Touch Football Australia (TFA), in conjunction with major partner Red Rooster, is delighted to announce the State winners and finalists for the 2024 Community Club of the Year award.
Launched in 2023, the Community Club of the Year award continues to acknowledge, celebrate, and reward the contributions of Touch Football affiliates throughout Australia. The program is linked to inclusion and growth initiatives implemented in the affiliate’s local community that either grow the sport or enhance the experience of its participants – fostering enjoyment at all levels.
TFA CEO, Jamie O’Connor acknowledged the efforts of all Touch Football affiliates and how the award continues to recognise their contributions.
“The Red Rooster Community Club of the Year Award allows us to recognise and celebrate the contributions local affiliates have within their local community and the sport more broadly. This is an important initiative to shine a spotlight on the incredible programs and individuals that allow our sport to transform lives and communities,” O’Connor said.
“I would like to also acknowledge the support of Red Rooster, who like us are passionate about local communities and recognising their contributions.”
With over 300 affiliates around the country – eight State winners have been identified and will receive a $500 catering voucher thanks to Red Rooster. Congratulations to all affiliates who were named State winners and national finalists:
