The Touch Footy action doesn’t stop in August. Here are the key events to keep an eye out for.
South Queensland Border Districts Primary All Schools
7 August
The first of five Regional Primary All Schools Events to be held in 2024, all Primary School teams in the South Queensland Border Districts, and neighbouring regions are open to participate. The event provides a high level of competition between city and country schools, as well as valuable development opportunities for students in the lead-up to the Queensland Primary All Schools.
South Queensland Sharks Touch will be running this event from Owen Park, Southport (home of Gold Coast Touch Association).

Queensland Regional Secondary All Schools Events
Following on from the Sunshine Coast Secondary All Schools event contested on July 28, five more Secondary All Schools championships will be held throughout the month of August. These regional events provide invaluable opportunities for Secondary students to develop their Touch Footy skills as we continue to build towards the DoorDash National Youth Championships and Queensland All Schools.
The following regional events will be held throughout the month of August.
- South West Queensland Secondary All Schools: 4 August, Kearney's Spring Sport Complex, Toowoomba
- South Queensland Border Districts Secondary All Schools: 7 – 8 August, Gold Coast Touch Association, Owen Park, Southport
- Brisbane Secondary All Schools: 17 – 18 August, Runcorn State High School
- Central Queensland Secondary All Schools: 23 August, Rockhampton Touch Association, Cyril Connell Fields, Rockhampton
- North Queensland Secondary All Schools: 24 – 25 August, Greenwood Park, Kirwan

NSW All Schools State Final
13 August
After ten events, and several months of Touch Footy action, the NSW All Schools State Finals are set and ready. Winners and runners-up from contested regional Secondary All Schools championships will travel to The Kingsway Playing Fields in Werrington, to battle it out for state supremacy.
Competitions will be played in two pools, with six round games. The top four will progress to the finals before an ultimate champion is crowned.

South Australia Women’s Competition
Touch Football South Australia will run a women’s competition beginning in August on Tuesday nights – providing a Touch Football experience to females aged 14 and over.
The competition is inclusive of all playing abilities and will have traditional-length games in a 10-round format plus finals.

South Australia All Schools Mixed Competition
22 August
Four mixed divisions will compete on Thursday, August 22 at City Touch Fields, Adelaide in the South Australia All Schools Mixed Competition. Get your school involved in the inclusive, mixed competition in Year 5/6s, Year 7/8s, Year 9/10s, and in Opens.

Metro Cup
23 August
Queensland's premier club competition, the Metro Cup hosts the best talent in the Brisbane metropolitan region. Competitions are held for Men and Women across four divisions, as well as a Mixed Gender All Abilities competition.
