The Touch Footy action doesn’t stop as we enter the Winter season. Here are the key events to keep an eye out for.
NSW All Schools Carnivals
The NSWTA All Schools Carnival is designed to give students across different school systems the chance to compete. Last month, several carnivals were contested across the state, with the final two competitions set to tap off in early June. The winners and runners up of these events will progress to the State Final contested in August.
The following events will be held this month:
- Hunter Carnival: 5 – 6 June, Upper Reserve, Wallsend
- Metro South Carnival: 12 – 13 June, Vale of Ah Reserve, Milperra
- Far-North Coast Carnival: 18 – 19 June, Saunders Oval, Ballina
- Mid-North Coast Carnival: 26 – 27 June, Tuffins Lane, Part Macquarie

Queensland Representative School Sport State Championships
Part of the Queensland Governments’ extensive school sports event schedule, these State Championships aim to provide, foster and develop sport within state schools and colleges, as well as the non-state schools' affiliates with Queensland Representative School Sport (QRSS).
Trials have been held throughout Autumn leading up to these separate state events. The Championships have been split across two separate weekends.
- QRSS 10 – 12 Year Boys & Girls: 6 – 9 June, Rockhampton Touch Fields, The Common, Rockhampton
- QRSS 13 – 15 / 16 – 18 Year Boys & Girls: 13 – 16 June, Whites Hill Reserve, Camp Hill

Queensland Special Education Championships
7 June
The Queensland Special Education Touch Football Championships is a free event for schools and athletes, with a focus on participation and social interaction.
Redlands Touch Association will be hosting this years’ event, with three divisions (Social, Recreational, Competitive) available.
