2024 Ochre Award Nominations

Here at Touch Football NT, we honour and celebrate achievement, excellence, dedication and commitment to our sport. So, we're excited to announce that the Ochre Awards are back for another year and we're currently accepting nominations in the following categories.

Ochre Awards:

• 2024 Player of the Year
• 2024 Junior Player of the Year
• 2024 Coach of the Year
• 2024 Official of the Year
• 2024 Volunteer of the Year
• 2024 Representative Team of the Year

The below criteria are relevant for the Player, Coach, Official & Team of the Year awards. 

Selection Criteria - Player, Coach, Official and Representative Team:

• Competition Name
• Competition Level (International or National)
• Results and/or demonstration of achievement (e.g., special achievements, records set). Please ensure official records and/or results from the competition/event being detailed are included as attachments.
• Pathway required to qualify for competition (were you involved in selections, trials, training sessions etc)
• Quality and depth of competition- (applicable for Athlete and Team nominations
• Significance of the achievement in terms of Territory sport

Regarding our Volunteer of the Year, selection criteria is as follows.

Selection Criteria - Volunteer:

• Achievements and contribution to the organisation and sporting community
• Significance of achievements and contributions, and the value of this to the organisation and sporting community

This year, to showcase our athletes, officiators and volunteers receiving the awards and embodying these qualities, we'll be presenting each award during the Grand Final presentations at the NT Titles.

Nominations can be made here via the online nomination form and we ask that you please ensure any evidence required for selections is included where requested and to the best of your ability.
