One of the biggest month's of the year, Touch Football fans were treated to 4 State Cup events across the country. Here's a recap of all that transpired.
Touch Football Western Australia State Championships Presented by LiveLighter
The 2024 edition of the Touch Football Western Australia State Championships saw Perth Brothers retain their Champion Affiliate title. The Metro Affiliate participated in four of the eight Grand Finals on offer, emerging victorious in two of them (Women's Open and Women's 30s). In the Men's Open, Northern Spirit were also successful in retaining their title, whilst standout performances from Trevor Twose and Brooke Carroll saw the Tompkins Park Sharks win the Mixed Open title. Singapore Touch sent two teams to participate, as they continue their preparations for the Touch World Cup in Nottingham this July.

Victoria Junior State Cup
The best junior talent in Victoria travelled to Seabrook Reserve in Broadmeadows for an epic day of Touch Football action. Harlequins emerged as Club Champions after picking up the Gold in 4 of the 8 (18s Boys, 16s Girls, 14s Girls, 14s Boys) divisions contested. The Under 16s Girls, was the closest division of the event, with Harlequin emerging victorious over Melbourne City Lions in a nail-biting game. Melbourne University Blacks in the Under 18s Girls division were the standout team on the day, as they proved too strong for their rivals, despite a courageous performance from the Galaxy team in the Grand Final.

NSW Junior State Cup (Southern Conference)
The NSW Junior State Cup, Southern Conference, was contested in sweltering conditions in Wagga Wagga. Following three tantalising days of Touch Footy, it was the Taren Point Sharks who overcame these circumstances the best, as they were crowned Club Champions. The Sydney-based affiliate, dominated proceedings in both the Under 10s and Under 14s divisions with their Boys and Girls teams all emerging triumphant. Another Grand Final victory in the Under 12s Boys division, confirmed the trophy was heading to Taren Point. The Under 18s Boys division closed out proceedings for the weekend, with hosts Wagga Wagga the winners. The home team put on an outstanding performance as friends and family stormed the field to celebrate a historic victory.

Tasmania Junior State Cup
31 teams attended the 2024 edition of the Tasmania Junior State Cup, with sunny conditions welcoming participants to Meercroft Park. The Bears were crowned Overall Club Champions for their efforts across the weekend, whilst Launceston Touch Association successfully retained their Junior State Cup title. The under 10s division was contested as a participation event, with teams from Rebels, Condors and Devonport playing on a custom-designed half-field in a Round Robin format.
