2024 Touch Football Tasmania State Council Meeting

The Touch Football Tasmania Annual State Council meeting will be held on Friday 9th February 2024 at 6:00PM.

On Friday 8th December 2023, written notice is hereby given to:
Touch Football Tasmania (TFT) Affiliate Network;
TFT members;
Touch Football Australia Executive;
Current State and Territory Advisory Committee (STAC).
That the TFT Annual Meeting for the 2022/2023 financial period to be held as follows:
Date: Friday 9th February 2024
Time: 6:00PM
Venue: via video conference on Microsoft TEAMS (link to be sent)
Note: A meeting link for video conference on Microsoft TEAMS will be sent to each Affiliate
contact and any members or representatives of an Affiliate on request. Please contact
des.fogarty@touchfootball.com.au for the video link.

TFT ANNUAL MEETING VOTING ELIGBILITY
VOTING BY DELEGATES
Each affiliate within the TFT affiliate network is entitled to one (1) vote. Affiliates must ensure that they are fully financial as of Wednesday, 31st January 2024 to be eligible for voting rights. Affiliate delegates can have voting eligibility at the Annual meeting via video conference and submit votes accordingly.
Affiliate delegate attendance (via video conference) must be confirmed by 5:00PM Friday, 2nd February 2024.

ELECTION OF STATE & TERRITORY ADVISORY COMMITTEE (STAC) MEMBERS
As per the TFA 2021 Terms of Reference, the STAC is to consist of:
The Committee must comprise of five (5) members appointed to the Committee and in
accordance with the following:
• three (3) elected members elected by the relevant State Council at the State Council
Annual Meeting;
• one (1) Director of the TFA Board appointed by TFA;
• the TFA CEO or their nominee;
• Not more than 3 people of a single gender may be elected/ appointed to the Committee.
STAC MEMBER EXPIRED TERMS AND VACANCIES
Currently there is one (1) General Member position open for election at the 2022/23 Annual
Meeting, (see attached nomination form) NOMINATION ARE DUE 5pm Monday 8th January 2024
Current members that have additional years left in their term are:
• Kristi Mead
• Josh Damen
The Chair position will be voted on by the elected STAC members at the next STAC meeting
following the Annual Meeting
