The inaugural Touch Football ACT All-Abilities Cup was held on Saturday 7th and Sunday 8th October at Deakin Playing Fields.
The competition saw teams travelling from Orange, Wagga, Wollongong, The Hills District and The Hunter Region to participate alongside two Canberra based teams.
The Canberra teams, who form part of the All-Abilities Alliance Touch Football Club, have been training throughout the winter and were delighted with the opportunity to test their skills out against their new friends.
All-Abilities Touch Football allows participants of all abilities to develop skills and confidence, play touch football and create new friendships.
The competition was fiercely contested over the two days, for many players this being their first taste of competitive sport.
The winners of the three divisions were:
Tier 1 - AASC Hunters
Tier 2 - Wagga Vipers
Tier 3 - Hills Hornets
