The 2023 ACT NAIDOC Touch Football carnival, held on Wednesday 5th of July at Deakin Playing Fields, saw 29 public service departments competing for internal bragging rights, as a part of the ACT Governments NAIDOC Week celebrations.
The carnival was opened with a Welcome to Country presented by Ngunnawal Elder, Uncle Warren Daly, who later in the day presided over a traditional smoking ceremony.
Early competition saw some fiercley contested pool matches before teams were split into Trophy, Cup and Plate divisions to compete in the knockout finals series.
