The Cold Climate Classic (CCC) returns for its 3rd edition this October in the scenic and rugged beauty of North-West Tasmania.

The CCC is a food, wine and touch lovers' paradise combining all three elements whilst providing you with the opportunity to finally tick Tasmania off your bucket list. Come down and experience the fresh clean air and beautiful surroundings. This year's edition will host competitions for social and competitive touch divisions, meaning there's something for everyone to enjoy.

Held at Meercroft Park, Devonport with sweeping views of Bass Strait, the event offers a relaxed social vibe across the October 28-29 weekend.

As is now tradition, the tournament will run alongside the Devonport Food and Wine Festival, an annual showcase of the best food and wine the region has to offer. A celebration of Tasmanian culinary excellence, check out the best produce available on the state's North Coast, whilst indulging in a wider variety of classes, demonstrations and sample events.

Touch Football Tasmania State Manager Jeff Quick was excited to see the event continue to grow in its third year. 'We are excited to once again deliver an even bigger and better experience for everyone that comes down for this unique event. The Touch will be bigger and better than before and there will be more to do, see and taste between games. This is an event you really should experience.'

Registrations are now open, with first release tickets sold out. Second release tickets are still available at $90 per person (25% off), with third release tickets to be sold for $120 per person. An exclusive welcome event will again be hosted before this year’s event gets underway.

A minimum of eight (8) players are required to form a team.

For an enriched Tasmanian experience, stay on packages will be made available, including special rates on the Spirit of Tasmania for you to travel in style.
