Director of Men’s Touch Football

Touch Football ACT (TFACT) is excited to confirm the appointment of Steve Hughes as the official Director of Men’s Touch Football ACT.

Steve has been involved with Touch Football as the highest levels having coached ACT 12-year-old school teams through to being the Assistant Coach of the England Men’s Open team at the 2015 World Cup and everything in between.

Steve will reinvigorate the Men’s program within the ACT, sparking a return to Open Men’s team’s entry at the NTL’s 2023

This appointment, in line with the Director of Women’s Touch Football will have oversight and engagement into the Junior Pathways program, thus seeking to ensure a smooth transition for our Junior players, into the Senior ranks.

The appointment is for a two-year period, through until and including the 2024 season
