On Sunday the 30th of October, Melbourne Masters Touch Football will be hosting their third event again at Harlequins RUFC. After the Gala Day last month, the master’s community is growing with teams of players from all over Victoria showing enthusiastic interest. It was amazing to see nearly 100 masters on the day, participating in a social and competitive round robin and long ball competition. Congratulations to all the winners and volunteers on the day.
The spirit of the community has seen many new faces come into the master’s program and everyone is enjoying the opportunity to take part. The next event will be a mix of skills drills and social games bringing players of all abilities together to play in friendly matches. Similar to the first master event, warm up will commence 12.30pm, hosted by some of our VIC State coaches and players. The social games will kick off at 1.30pm, with teams selected on the day.
Come and join with friends or come and make some new ones. It’s a great opportunity to get out, get fit (or get a little less unfit?) and have a great time. All the while playing against players of the same age group.
