TFWA Seeking Field Officers

Touch Football Western Australia (TFWA) is seeking Casual Field Officers to join our team. Field Officers' primary role is to coordinate and deliver introductory activities at grassroots level within the Perth Metropolitan Area and to support the promotion and expansion of TFWA programs, strategies, and entry points for the game across Affiliates and their competitions.

Job Responsibilities

• Lead and support the delivery of school clinics at both primary and secondary schools.
• Assist in the organisation and delivery of running Gala days, 'Come and Try' days along with Development days.
• Assist in the organisation and delivery of state-based events with the assistance of the relevant state / territory office.
• Transition participants into organised competitions aligned to Touch Footballs Strategic and Participation Plans.
• Set up facilities that provide first class experiences for the participants.
  
  

Key Relationships

• Work closely with locally based Referees and Coaches.
• Work closely with Schools and Affiliated associations.
• Work with relevant TFWA personnel, or partners within Western Australia.
  
  

Key Selection Criteria

• Demonstrated ability to work in both a team environment autonomously with self-management and the ability to work under pressure.
• Initiative to drive the improvement of the sport and actively promote the sport of Touch Football
• Obtain a current Working with Children Check (WWCC) or equivalent.
• Hold or work towards obtaining a Foundation level Coaching certificate or Level 1 Referees badge.
• Have a desire to work in the sports industry with adequate skills or understanding of Touch Football.
• Flexibility to work outside of business hours and weekends.
• Demonstrated ability to consistently display customer service principles, practices, and attributes.
