During the school holidays Touch Football Victoria travelled to Bendigo in the heart of Victoria, where we delivered an action packed weekend for all.

Saturday was all about skill development and having fun. Sunday saw teams from across Victoria play in a competition where they could put their knowledge and skills learnt from the previous day to the test.

Bendigo delivered on the weather with the sun was shining and everyone enjoyed a range of drills, mini games and learning new skills under the guidance of some of the Victorian junior state coaches.

Kids of all ages and experience came together to improve their touch football ability. Not only were the Kids working on their own skills they were also developing team work with new players.

Again on Sunday the sun gave a clear morning to play some social competition where everyone could put all the skills, drills and team work they learnt into actual game play. All teams played 4 games and were able To finish up before the weather turned, and families could make the journey home.

There was some fantastic touch played by all and coaches noted the development during the day of all teams. The goal was to provide juniors opportunity to learn new skills and have fun. This was achieved by all the smiling faces on and off the field.

Touch Football Victoria would like to thank all families that travelled to Bendigo during the holidays to attend this event, and the coaches and referees who donated their time and knowledge, this wouldn’t have happened without you.

Behind the scenes help from Brighter lines that marked the fields and City of Greater Bendigo for their support providing the venue. Also to keep the players fed and the families caffeinated we had Smoke N Roast that delivered delicious hot food and Coffee Storm providing all hands with a hot coffee or in my case hot choccy.

Last thank you to all the kids that attended and gave it their all!

See you all on the touch fields.
