Junior Trial Dates Announced

Touch Football Victoria have today announced the trial dates for all of our junior representative teams for 2022.

With Representative Touch Football coming back online it will be an extremely exciting year for our juniors with teams travelling to several different tournaments around Australia. The 16’s & 18’ will head to the Sunshine Coast in late September to contest the Doordash National Youth Championships. Whilst the 12’s & 15’s will head to Wagga Wagga in NSW in late October for School Sports Australia’s National Tournament. Should numbers allow TFV may also look to send under 14’s to Doordash NYC as well.

Along with new tournaments TFV is trialling a new selection process with players required to register to attend the trials (see dates below) via Mysideline for the 16’s and 18’s and the Schools Sports Victoria registration portal for the 12’s and 15’s

TRIAL DATES – 16’s & 18’s

Under 18s & 16s Girls: Sunday 5^th June @ Cordner Oval, Fawkner Park. 9am-11am

Under 18s & 16s Girls: Sunday 19^th June @ Cordner Oval, Fawkner Park 9am-12pm

 

Under 18s & 16s Boys: Sunday 5^th June @ Cordner Oval, Fawkner Park 130pm-430pm

Under 18s & 16s Boys: Monday 13^th June @ Cordner Oval, Fawkner Park 130pm-430pm

Under 18s & 16s Boys: Sunday 19^th June @ Cordner Oval, Fawkner Park 130pm-430pm

To register to trial, players must go to www.touchfootball.com.au, click on register, then select, player, then search “Vic Storm Junior Representative Program 2022” and click on Register. Players will need to have a personal profile on Mysideline and this can be created very quickly at the point of registration.

Under 12s Boys and Girls- Sunday 17^th July- 1130am-130pm, Cordner Oval, Fawkner Park

Under 12s Boys and Girls- Sunday 24^th July- 1130am-130pm, Cordner Oval, Fawkner Park

Under 12s Boys and Girls- Sunday 31st July- 1130am-130pm, Cordner Oval, Fawkner Park- Invited players only.

Players unable to attend trials may still be considered for selection but will be required to contact David Diack at David.diack@touchfootball.com.au to advise the reasons for non attendance.
