Touch Football Tasmania today announces information for referees for the 2021 State Cup held at Prospect Park Launceston on 11-12 December.
Referee nominations are now open for anyone wanting to referee at the event.
We will again have the expertise of a national panel member to provide expert referee coaching, to improve the skills of our referees and the experience for our players.
To participate you must be a level 1 referee minimum (with at least 12 months experience refereeing at your affiliate), with a recommendation from your affiliate referee director. All nominations for referees can be done at touchfootball.com.au
Affiliates are reminded that there is a referee : teams entered ratio detailed in the Competition Guidelines for the State Cup.
Tasmanian Level 4 and above referees are reminded that if they intend to play or coach at this event and not referee games, they need to submit a request to the Tournament Director Des Fogarty and State Referee Director James Anderson for dispensation.
A Level 2 Course will be held on Monday 6th December and we will also be running a Level 3 theory course on Friday 10 December in Launceston for any qualified Level 1 & 2 referees wanting to upgrade, with the opportunity to be assessed during the competition.
