PLAYERS

With the deferment of the Masters Trans-Tasman Test Series from January until 15-17 April 2022 in Christchurch, New Zealand, Touch Football Australia (TFA) has re-opened for a short time, its Expression of Interest (EOIs) process for players.

TFA is looking to send teams in the following age divisions:

Women’s 27s

Women’s 35s

Women’s 40s

Men’s 30s

Men’s 40

Men’s 50s and

Senior Mixed.

If you would like the opportunity to represent your country at next year’s event, you are required to complete the EOI survey by Tuesday, 30 November 2021.

A selection camp is planned to be held on the Gold Coast on Saturday, 22 & Sunday, 23 January 2022.  Players invited to attend the selection camp will be advised by mid December.

 

COACHES

With the deferment of the Masters Trans-Tasman Test Series until 15-17 April 2022 in Christchurch, New Zealand, Touch Football Australia (TFA) has re-opened its Expression of Interest (EOIs) process and is calling for suitably qualified, currently accredited, and active coaches for Australia’s 2022 Masters Trans-Tasman teams. 

The EOI will only be open for a short term, closing at 5pm Monday, 8 November 2021. Previous applicants are not required to re-apply.

Applications have been re-opened for head coach and assistant coach positions for the following age divisions:

Women’s 27s

Women’s 35s

Women’s 40s

Men’s 30s

Men’s 40s

Men’s 50s and

Senior Mixed

Interested parties will need to disclose their name, contact details, previous coaching experience and answer a few technical coaching questions.

Appointment Terms:

The appointment terms for these positions will be from the date of appointment in 2021 through to completion of all responsibilities after the 2022 Masters Trans-Tasman Test Series.  This campaign will involve attendance by the appointed coaches at all national selection and team training camps for the duration of the Masters Trans-Tasman preparations.

TFA will be looking to finalise appointments by 19 November 2021 and see there is opportunity for coaches and assistant coaches attending any state cup events, to undertake some early TID, prior to the Masters selection camp which is planned for Saturday, 22 & Sunday, 23 January on the Gold Coast.

Appointment Considerations:

The appointment processes within the HP Program places a large emphasis on interaction across the program with a focus on leadership and management. It takes into account the individual’s willingness to participate collaboratively, demonstration of their innovation within the coaching environment and their level of accountability and technical knowledge
