Winter Competition Update and New Dates for Postponed Games

As most of you would be aware now, ACT Sportsgrounds in conjunction with ACT Sport & Recreation have closed all turf grounds starting from last Saturday the 22nd August to Wednesday 26th August inclusive. This means Monday Deakin & City Touch as well as Wednesday Deakin will be postponed. Including the missed games on the same nights on the 10th & 12th of August we are able to have these games played! We are very lucky that we had planned for two extra weeks up our sleeve for possible wash out games.

So pending any further closures (Fingers crossed everyone!) all teams will be able to get their full season in. Please see below for the new dates of those games!

Summer Comp - The start date for Summer will be the 19th of October with registrations opening on the 7th of September. All competitions offered will be announced this week so stay tuned to our Website, Facebook & Instagram pages. Any questions please ask Competitions Coordinator Brodie Ingram.

New dates for Washed out games - Please note these will be updated on the website today and should be live on the competitions tab by close of business today.

Monday Deakin & Monday City Touch:
    - Round 5 moved to 14th September
    - Round 7 moved to 21st September
    - Final Round 'playoff' games will be played on 28th September

Wednesday Deakin:
    - Round 5 moved to 16th September
    - Round 7 Moved to 23rd September
    - Final Round 'playoff' games will be played on 30th September

Thursday Deakin:
    - Will continue to play as currently planned, no changes unless there are any further closures.
