Holding Hero News Article

It is with deep regret that the Touch Football Australia (TFA) Board has made the difficult decision to reduce TFA to operate on a skeleton staff for the foreseeable future while Touch Football competitions and events cannot run due to COVID-19 lockdowns.

This decision was made in an effort to protect the sport for the future and to ensure our staff members have a place to return to once this pandemic has passed.

A total of 35 people across TFA’s national and state network have been stood down, effective as of close of business today, 27th March 2020, until at least 27th April.

The TFA Board and CEO Jamie O'Connor will continue to monitor the COVID-19 situation closely and will reinstate staff at the earliest and most appropriate time.

TFA wishes our community the best, we hope you stay safe and well during these challenging times, and we look forward to reuniting back at the Touch fields sooner rather than later.

If you need to contact TFA during this time, email info@touchfootball.com.au.
