On Sunday 18th August, the 2019 NRL Touch Premiership women's and men's Grand Finals were played at the Sydney Cricket Ground.

In the Women's, the Minor Premiers, the Parramatta Eels, took on the Brisbane Broncos, who, despite a shaky start to their season, have been in fine form for their last couple of games. That form continued on Sunday, when the Broncos managed to defeat the Eels, with a score of 4-2.

In the Men's, the North Queensland Cowboys took on the Newcastle Knights. Minor Premiers the Cowboys remained undefeated for their round games but if there was any team that was going to be able to give them a run for their money, it was the Knights. A close final ensued, the game almost going into drop-off but for a Kristian Congoo try in the last four seconds giving the Cowboys a win, 5-4.

Player of the Finals medals went to Broncos co-captain Emily Hennessey in the Women's, and to Cowboys link Lachlan Pierce in the Men's.

The games can still be watched, on-demand, on Kayo Sports.
