It was another big day of Touch Football on day two of the 2015 Harvey Norman National Youth Championships at the Sunshine Coast Stadium.
With teams qualifying for Championship, Repechage and Plate divisions on Wednesday, day two saw teams set themselves up for the best possible positions in the lead up to finals, with quarter finals being played on Friday afternoon.
In the 18’s Boys Championship division, New South Wales Combined High Schools sits on top of the ladder, followed by Central Queensland Bulls and Queensland Secondary Schools Touch, all with two wins and one draw.
The 18’s Boys Repechage division sees New South Wales Touch Association on top of the ladder, undefeated after their three games on day two, with Touch New Zealand 17’s and the ACT Raiders close behind with two wins and one loss.
In the Plate division, local side the Sunshine Coast Pineapples are undefeated on day two with their three wins, with the Brisbane City Cobras and New South Wales Combined Independent Schools also undefeated.
In the 18’s Girls division, Queensland Secondary Schools Touch and New South Wales Combined High Schools sit on top of the ladder undefeated after two days of the competition.
The South Queensland Sharks, Touch New Zealand 17’s and Sunshine Coast Pineapples are all undefeated on day two of the Repechage division.
In the Plate division, the Touch New Zealand 15, North Queensland Tropical Cyclones and Central Queensland Bulls are all undefeated after day one.
