Following the announcement that Touch Football will be a part of the 2015 Harvey Norman Rugby League All Stars event, we are giving you the chance to help pick our TFA All Stars team!
An All Stars versus Indigenous Mixed Touch Football game will be played as one of the curtain raisers to the Rugby League All Stars match on Friday, 13 February at Cbus Stadium on the Gold Coast.
The Indigenous team will be announced in the coming week, stay tuned to the website for the team announcement.
The TFA All Stars team will comprise of four New South Wales players, four from Queensland and one from each of the remaining six states, as well as two picks chosen from Touch Football Australia CEO, Colm Maguire. The New South Wales Touch Association and Queensland Touch Football have already selected their respective players, which will also be announced on the website in the coming week.
We need your help to decide on our remaining six players (one from each state) from ACT, NT, SA, TAS, VIC and WA. We will be selecting six players (three male, three female) in the following week and you will choose who makes the team! The three female players will be chosen from ACT, NT and VIC with the three male players to be chosen from SA, TAS and WA, with the intention for this to swap in 2016.
Starting with the ACT on Wednesday, we will provide you with a number of player’s names from each state and we need you to vote for your favourite player at our Facebook page – www.facebook.com/touchfootballaustralia. The player with the most ‘likes’ to their name at the end of the day will be added to the All Stars team!
The voting process will take place in the following order with the following players in contention. Please note, all times are AEDST.
