Queensland’s best junior talent will take to the fields at Palm Beach this weekend to compete in the 2014 Queensland Junior State Championships.

Teams from each of Queensland’s six regions will compete in the event across six divisions – 12’s Boys and Girls, 14’s Boys and Girls and 16’s Boys and Girls.

Games will start at 2pm on Friday, with semi-finals and finals to be played on Sunday morning.

As part of Hearing Awareness week, Touch Football Australia will also be coordinating a Silent Sports Challenge between 11.00am-1.00pm on Friday before the commencement of the Junior State Championships.

The Queensland Junior State Championships will also be a selection event for Queensland 14’s & 16’s junior state teams who will travel to Melbourne in December for their High Performance tour.
